How Duplicate Line Remover works
Repeated lines frequently appear in copied lists, logs, exports, and manually merged data. Removing duplicates produces a cleaner set while keeping the first occurrence and its original position.
The input is split at line boundaries and passed through a set that tracks lines already seen. A line is emitted only on its first appearance, then the remaining sequence is joined again.
Comparison is exact, so differences in capitalization or surrounding whitespace count as different lines. Clean or normalize the text first if those differences should be ignored, and preserve a source copy when order matters.
