How XML to JSON / JSON to XML works

XML and JSON express structured information differently: XML uses elements and attributes, while JSON uses objects, arrays, and primitive values. Conversion is useful for simple payloads, prototypes, and integration work.

XML input is parsed into an element tree and represented as nested JSON keys. JSON input is traversed recursively to create matching XML elements, with special characters escaped in text values.
